How it works, in plain words

When you buy a TEC app, we send you an email with a link to set up your TEC ID. Click the link, and you're in — no password required. Your license key is already there waiting for you. Copy it into the app, and you're up and running.

The app remembers you on that computer. If you ever want to move to a new computer, you can release the seat from your TEC ID and activate the new one. No phone calls, no ticket queue.

Privacy, briefly

We only collect what we need to run your account and deliver your software — your email, your name (if you give it), your billing address (required by our payment processor for tax purposes), and which of our products you own. We never sell your data. Full details live at tec.design/privacy.
